B2B Launches Lync & Office 365

ATLANTA—(January 4, 2011)—B2B Technologies, an IT Professional Services firm and Microsoft® Gold Partner specializing in business productivity and cloud solutions, completed the migration of its internal unified communications systems to Microsoft® Office 365. B2B is now fully deployed in the cloud for email as well as Lync for presence, instant messaging, voice, and audio, video, and Web conferencing. With its launch of Office 365 internally, B2B Technologies confirms its commitment to these cloud solutions from Microsoft®.

“With our continuing focus on cloud services and Office 365 we think it is essential that we practice what we preach.” Says Frank Fuerst, CEO of B2B Technologies. “It is a vital aspect of our business to be using the most current and state-of-the-art solutions from Microsoft®. When we speak with clients, our knowledge and experience comes from day-to-day hands on use of the technologies internally as well as with our clients. Beyond that, the Office 365 services are a perfect solution for small and mid-sized businesses like our own, so this was really a no-brainer for us.”

B2B employees, who are enthusiastically using the product for conference calls, messaging and even webinars, have noted the seamless integration of Office 365 into the firm. “This step creates an environment for collaboration that just makes sense. Going from an email conversation to messaging or even a web conference is only a few clicks away. This frees up my time to really concentrate on what needs to get done, instead of going out of my way to set up a conference call or track down someone’s availability status.” Says Cherie Knight-Batey, Project Manager.
