B2B Technologies Creates Web-based Chemical Application for Atrion International

ATLANTA, GA – November 13, 2000 – B2B Technologies, developers and integrators of award-winning Internet applications, has completed the development and deployment of RegDB On-Line for Atrion International, Inc.

RegDB Online is the most comprehensive and current source of worldwide regulatory compliance knowledge. It delivers the critical environmental, health, safety, and logistics (EHS&L) knowledge required to achieve long-term EHS&L assurance and is the leading regulatory knowledge repository on the Internet today. RegDB Online has key EHS&L information related to approximately 240,000 chemicals, and includes requirements from 88 global regulations.

Totally browser-based, RegDB Online allows users to search on one or more chemicals within any of the 88 global regulations. Corporate compliance assurance professionals have easy access to international, national and regional information so that they may make critical informed business decisions that can impact their bottom lines. Data can be searched and manipulated for custom reporting to ensure that critical information is communicated clearly and gets to those with a need to know before it is needed.

Knowing Atrion’s tight deadline, B2B Technologies designed and developed the custom application in 10 weeks. "Using our proprietary design and development strategy and having the technical expertise in place allowed us to create a very complicated data driven application in a short amount of time," says Don Wolf, one of the founders of B2B Technologies. In developing the system, B2B Technologies worked closely with Atrion to understand not only the requirements for RegDB Online, but Atrion’s overall product strategy and vision. In addition, B2B Tech provided technical mentoring and guidance for several Atrion employees who will maintain the system in the future.

B2B Technologies will continue its relationship with Atrion International through ongoing enhancements to RegDB Online and is also discussing bringing Atrion’s other products to the Web.
