Samsung Engages B2B Technologies for E-Commerce Strategy

ATLANTA, GA - September 13, 2000 - B2B Technologies, developers and integrators of Internet-based software systems, was engaged by Samsung Electronics to advise them on the rollout of several new business-to-business and business-to-consumer Web sites.

The second largest firm in Korea, and one of the largest conglomerates in the world, Samsung turned to B2B Technologies to develop several critical pieces of their Internet strategy. "Having developed a variety of solutions in many different industries allows us to provide the insights to encourage long-term adoption of these systems, which ultimately leads to lower cost of sales and increased revenues," said Frank Fuerst, president of B2B Technologies. The business-to-business sites include a site for Office Automation products, a site for complex telecommunications equipment, and a site for Consumer Electronics products. The business-to-consumer site includes a sampling of Samsung's massive Consumer Electronic product line. Since each site has a different audience, each required different strategies to drive visitors and ensure effectiveness, thus creating a profitable user experience.
