B2B Technologies Co-Develops Equifax Banking Software
ATLANTA, GA - March 5, 1999 – B2B Technologies, developers and integrators of
Internet-based software systems, has completed the co-development of a new
software application with Equifax, Inc. of Atlanta. The software provides the
critical infrastructure required to support a new product initiative by Equifax
in the community banking application area.
One of the largest credit reporting companies in the world, Equifax turned to
B2B Technologies to develop several critical pieces of the software. "I believe
the reason Equifax selected B2B Tech was because of our specialized technical
knowledge, our ability to do the job quickly and cost effectively and the fact
that Equifax could trust B2B Tech to handle the job," said Frank Fuerst,
president of B2B Technologies.
The subsystems developed by B2B Technologies include Automated Clearing House
(ACH) processing, Wire Transfer, Dynamic Advertising and Account Management.
The Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Wire Transfer subsystems support
transferring funds from one bank to another through the United States
Government’s Federal Reserve System. B2B Technologies built the ACH and Wire
Transfer subsystems to comply with US Federal Reserve System specifications and
coordinated testing of the system with Federal Reserve personnel.
The Dynamic Advertising subsystem provides Equifax with the ability to sell
and display targeted advertising within its software product. Dynamic
Advertising is flexible and can target advertising to users identified by either
broad or narrow criteria.
Account Management provides individual account users with the ability to view
and manage certain aspects of their own accounts.
B2B Technologies is a privately held Internet consulting and development
company specializing in business-to-business e-commerce and supply chain
